Mallard adult male in breeding plumage

Keeping with the theme of matching colours, in the same patch of water where I photographed the Mandarins in the previous two images a few minutes earlier, I was able to find a green reflection from the background trees to match the beautiful head colour of the adult male Mallard in breeding plumage.
