Mountains of the Moon

The road up to the Bwindi Impenetrable Park was difficult and we arrived at the Trekkers Tavern in the late afternoon. I was at first disappointed to discover that my room was a walk up the hill and down the other side some distance from the dining room. My spirits lifted however when I discovered that I had been allocated a lodge with an incredible view across the mountains to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
