Northern Brown-throated Weaver male

Several days of searching was required before we successfully saw the Green-breasted Pitta at Kibale (I took no photographs, I’m afraid). It was time to move on and we travelled from Fort Portal towards the east of Uganda via the capital Kampala, passing through large papyrus swamps where we saw parties of Northern Brown-throated Weavers.
