Scarlet-chested Sunbird adult male

The previous day had involved a long flight from the UK to Rwanda via Amsterdam. I wasn’t sure what to expect on arrival but was interested to find that all plastic bags are banned in Rwanda and were confiscated on arrival. I took a taxi to the hotel only to find that we had been moved. The new hotel was more modern and spacious and breakfast was taken in the garden the following morning. A male Scarlet-chested Sunbird fed on some beautiful flowers nearby.
