Swamp Flycatcher

Swamp Flycatcher

After an early breakfast at Shoebill Lodge, it was time for the promised boat trip. The low water levels meant that it was a long walk to the boat and when we sat in, the boat would not float. The boatman had to get out and push the boat to a patch of open water where we were able to float for long enough to see a Swamp Flycatcher. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach other parts of the swamp to see waders at the edge of the water.
