Trumpeter Swan

Trumpeter Swan is a very large bird with the same length but longer wing span than a Mute Swan. For several years, Wye Marsh has had a successful breeding programme for this species which would help to explain the ring and wing tag. This was the only bird, an adult, which we saw in a day at the Marsh.
