Wren is a common resident in Kelsey Park, Beckenham, best identified by its loud song. Wren is one of the smallest British birds but with patience can be seen in the Park feeding on the ground or singing from a low tree or bush. On this occasion, I tracked a buzzing sound moving through reedy grass alongside the stream at the top end of the Park. With some encouragement from me, this Wren hopped onto the top of a reed stem and posed for a few seconds.
